This approach results in better renter communities, while optimizing returns and cash yields for investors.

    Core Strategy

    Starlight’s Commercial Core Strategy is operated predominantly through True North Commercial REIT (TSX: TNT.UN), with the mandate to acquire accretive, high quality commercial properties in strategic urban and secondary markets across Canada, focusing on long term leases with government and credit rated tenants. True North Commercial REIT leverages Starlight’s infrastructure and utilizes best-in-class third party property managers.

    Value-Add Strategy

    Starlight’s Commercial Value-Add Program identifies underperforming commercial assets with physical, functional, operational and/or financial challenges. Institutional and private joint venture partners are able to capitalize on the active management program through value creation opportunities and asset repositioning.
