Overview

As the Project Manager, Information Technology, your role is pivotal in driving IT projects from conception to completion, aligning them with the company’s strategic objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Execution: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with Starlight’s strategic objectives. 
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation. 
  • Scope and Goal Definition: Clearly define project scope, set achievable goals, and establish deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders. 
  • Timeline and Milestone Management: Create and maintain project schedules, track progress against milestones, and adjust plans, as necessary. 
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate project teams, including internal staff and external contractors, ensuring effective collaboration and communication. 
  • Budget Management: Oversee project budgets, including cost estimation, allocation, and tracking. Ensure projects are delivered within financial constraints. 
  • Quality Assurance: Monitor project deliverables to meet Starlight’s quality standards and project specifications. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, providing updates, gathering feedback, and making necessary adjustments. 
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and dependencies, develop mitigation strategies, and manage any issues that arise. 
  • Reporting: Provide comprehensive progress reports and documentation, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Business or related field 
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification preferred 
  • Proven track record in IT project management, with experience in managing projects in a similar industry or domain 
  • Leadership: Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate teams
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Organizational: High-level organizational skills for managing complex projects. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with project management software and tools. 
  • Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities.
