As a member of the Asset Management & Investments team, the Analyst will be primarily responsible for the output and analysis of operational and financial reporting, tracking of capital expenditures, preparation of leasing analytics, assisting in the preparation of annual operating budgets and other ad-hoc projects as required for commercial properties across Canada. 

• Prepare and analyze operational data for strategic review by the asset manager and executives such as lease transactions and return on capital investments.
• Assist in the preparation of full quarterly reporting and prepare any other reporting reasonably requested by the senior analyst, the asset manager and executives from time to time.
• Fully analyze financial results and organize them as required for presentation in the quarterly reports and other reporting as requested for stakeholders. 
• Assist in the creation of asset plans, and annual operating and capital budgets in accordance with the asset plans.
• Complete market research for the specific submarket of each asset and make recommendations to the DAM based on results; including market rates, parking, storage, and other services/​amenities offered.
• Analyze expenses including utility consumption tracking and identify cost savings opportunities.
• Assist asset managers and executives as needed with any other property analytical information.
• Review all deliverables for consistency and accuracy with the asset manager.
• Other ad-hoc assignments and/​or duties as required.

• Studying for a bachelor’s degree in commerce, business administration, finance or similar education.
• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office required especially Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to write and present reports.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills with a focus on building cooperative and professional relationship with clients and stakeholders.
• Flexible, driven, self-motivated and result-oriented individual with ability to obtain results in a fast-paced environment.
• Works well under pressure in a team and independent environments.
• Strong work ethics, superior organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills to handle multiple demands and tight deadlines.
• Experience in commercial real estate an asset.
