Marketing Coordinator

Overview

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Canadian Multi-Family division in the coordination, development and implementation of building specific marketing campaigns and programs. The candidate will assist in the creation and execution of a variety of marketing programs including but not limited to communication and digital content creation, deployment, project management and reporting.

The Marketing Coordinator will also support various aspects of Starlight’s comprehensive communications and public relations program, working on impactful initiatives to enhance Starlight Investments’ brand presence and profile in the marketplace. 

Duties and Responsibilities

Residential Marketing:

  • Monthly marketing Property Management Company (PMC) meeting notes and action item tracking and follow-ups, PMC expectation guides and PMC collateral such as campaign posters.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly investor and departmental presentations. 
  • Assist in auditing and gathering all marketing items in market per high vacancy building on Asset Management’s requests.
  • Manage all photo and video assets for all Canadian Residential assets, including audits of current stock, supporting Asset Management and PMC requests including photography and virtual tours.
  • New Lease-up marketing support including website content, CRM email review and deployment, liaison with agency partners, model suite and rental centre coordination, print production, welcome gift and swag management, marketing collateral management (i.e. brochure and floorplans), budget tracking, market research and activations. 
  • Support event management as needed with the organizing and execution of tasks related to groundbreakings, open houses and resident events.
  • Assist in the execution of asset-level marketing plans.
  • Support in marketing aspects of dispositions, acquisitions and PMC transfers. 
  • Coordinate and management of Canadian multi-family signage.
  • Assist in the coordination of mystery shops and reporting.
  • Coordinate branding, marketing related signage, outdoor media, print and campaigns.
  • Stay apprised of marketing and leasing trends in the multi-family industry.

Corporate Communications and Initiatives: 

  • Support the management of social media channels and development of content (e.g. LinkedIn).
  • Support the execution of paid and earned media activities. 
  • Assist with the implementation of key community activations and charitable partnerships. 
  • Assist with executing major corporate announcements and initiatives. 
  • Support in developing a wide range of brand assets and communication materials including press releases, Q&As, newsletters, presentations, speaking notes, videos, digital/​social media content and marketing materials including award submissions.
  • Support in creating communication templates, and other tools that maintain a cohesive brand image for our corporate entities and across our portfolio of assets. 
  • Support overall project management and tracking of ongoing communications program activities and ad hoc projects.

Requirements

  • Strong communication, copy writing, editing and content management skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, particularly with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
  • Precise and accurate attention to detail.
