Senior Analyst, Global Markets

Reporting to the President of Global Markets, and collaborating with a results-oriented, high-performing team, the Senior Analyst, will have the following duties and responsibilities:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Development: Actively contribute to developing strategies to drive growth and position Starlight as a global leader in residential commercial real estate 
  • Market Intelligence: Work with Starlight’s executive team to gather market intelligence and trends, providing insights into investment strategies and identifying potential M&A opportunities, market expansions, and new sectors 
  • Capital Raising: Take a leadership role in capital raising initiatives including deal structuring, preparing marketing materials and industry reports, and servicing investor requests 
  • Investor Relations: Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing investors, effectively communicating the firm’s value proposition and investment opportunities 
  • Financial Analysis: Build financial models and conduct analysis to support proposed or ongoing investment vehicles 
  • Reporting: Prepare quarterly reports on the performance of Starlight’s vehicles including performance analysis and updates on operational and manager developments 
  • Industry Networking: Form powerful personal network of industry professionals both internally and externally 


  • Educational Background: Undergraduate degree with high academic standing in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics 
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, management consulting, private equity, or real estate
  • Investment Knowledge: Proficient understanding of private equity, M&A and real estate investments is preferred
  • Analytical Skills: Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytic skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data and effectively communicate key findings 
  • Independence and Collaboration: Ability to work independently and also with a wide variety of people, including internal and external parties, and meet deadlines while managing several assignments
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Eagerness to learn, be inquisitive and strategic problem solver 
  • Communication Skills & Relationship Management: Strong written and oral communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships externally and at all levels of organization 
  • Adaptability: Excels in a fast-paced work environment
