Toronto, ON – November 7, 2019 – Starlight Developments (“Starlight”) is pleased to announce that it has broken ground on a new multi-residential rental development project located at 1265 Birchmount Road in Scarborough, Ontario.
The complex is the fifth multi-residential rental project to be developed by Starlight and the first in Scarborough. When completed, the development, named McGregor Park Urban Towns, will consist of 21 stacked townhome units comprised of two-bedroom, three-bedroom, and three-bedroom plus den units. It will compliment the existing 70-unit concrete mid-rise building located at 1255 Birchmount Road. Unit finishes will be condominium quality and include a balcony and terrace, main floor open concept design, luxury hardware and cabinetry and an en-suite in the master bedroom.

The groundbreaking ceremony took place on Friday, November 1, 2019. In addition to Starlight’s staff and partner companies, Straight was honoured to be in the presence of Councilor Michael Thompson and his team.
The project is the most recent demonstration of Starlight’s success in providing solutions to the Canadian housing shortage while upgrading its properties through the development of new, high quality, commercial and multi-family buildings to complement existing properties.
