Toronto – November 20, 2017 – Starlight Group Property Holdings Inc. (“Starlight”) is proud to announce that its energy management team was acknowledged on Thursday, November 16, at the Burlington Hydro Conservation’s Hall of Fame Gala for its participation in the Save On Energy business program.
The Save on Energy program, which is offered through Burlington Hydro and powered by the Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), is committed to building a sustainable future for our community by providing incentives for projects that reduce electricity consumption in both homes and businesses. Starlight’s 2017 electrical retrofits saved over 34,000 kWhs of power, which is the equivalent to planting 70 trees.
“We would like to thank Burlington Hydro, Save on Energy and the IESO for their continued support and assistance with Starlight’s electricity savings initiatives. With the incentives offered through the Save on Energy Program, Starlight will continue to implement projects aimed at reducing our electricity consumption and our carbon footprint,” explained Perry Rose, Executive Director, Procurement & Technical Services.
