Toronto – February 4, 2015 - Starlight Investments Ltd. (“Starlight”) is pleased to announce its ongoing support of Habitat for Humanity through the Habit for Humanity Awareness Campaign.
Habitat for Humanity welcomes all people without discrimination to join and build simple, decent, affordable homes in partnership with low-income families with a vision to create a world where everyone has a safe and decent place to live. The first Habitat for Humanity home was built in Canada in 1985 following which Habitat for Humanity has grown to in Canada to include 65 affiliates in all of the provinces and territories.
Starlight’s support of the Habit for Humanity Awareness Campaign will begin on February 16, 2015 with awareness messages aired on CFRB 1010 AM Radio for seven days. The Habit for Humanity Awareness Campaign is intended to create public awareness of the Canadian housing crisis including that 1 in 6 children live in poverty and 1.3 million families struggle in sub-standard housing.
