Toronto – April 9, 2013 – Starlight Investments Ltd. (“Starlight”) is pleased to announce its partnership with Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada (the “Foundation”) to help provide once in a lifetime experiences for the charity’s children and families.
The Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to bringing laughter, joy and hope back into the lives of children with serious illnesses, offering both in-hospital and out-of-hospital programs; the latter of which includes Escapes, Day Brighteners and Wish Adventures. Starlight was honoured to organize a Day Brightener for three of the Foundation’s biggest hockey fans and members of their families which included a Toronto Maple Leafs hockey game at an Air Canada Centre private box and an autographed jersey for each guest of honour – a sports fan’s dream come true!
“Their [Starlight] team has worked tirelessly with us to take care of all the fine details; details that are extremely important for children and families in our care who come to our program with various needs and exceptionalities. From accessibility to food allergies to children’s interests — you name it, they’ve thought of it!” explained Suzanne Raheb, Programs Coordinator, Starlight Children’s Foundation Canada.
Starlight is looking forward to hosting the next Day Brightener event in the fall of this year – a day at the movies where Foundation guests will be invited to a private screening of an upcoming Children’s blockbuster!
