Toronto — April 21, 2016 - Starlight Investments Ltd. (“Starlight”) is proud to announce that it will be an Open Mic sponsor for the 9th annual Laugh Out Loud comedy fundraiser to benefit The George Hull Centre for Children and Families (“GHC”), to be held on Wednesday May 4, 2016.
GHC, offers a wide range of children’s mental health services to children from birth to age 18 and their families. Through a continuum of mental health services, including outpatient treatment, psychiatric consultations, specialized schooling, residential and substance abuse treatment, the GHC helps children and their families back on track.
Laugh Out Loud is a comedy fundraiser to benefit the GHC for children and families which takes place during Children’s Mental Health Week. Guests will be entertained by comedians, enjoy cocktails and food, a live band and bid in silent and live auctions, in support of children’s mental health.
“Starlight is honoured to support The George Hull Centre for Children and Families, a centre that gives back to our local community,” stated Daniel Drimmer, Starlight’s President and Chief Executive Officer.
The GHC as well as the The George Hull Ontario Early Years Centre are both located in Etobicoke, a community densely populated by Starlight buildings where tenants have free access to the centre’s services.
