Toronto – April 23, 2013 – Starlight Investments Ltd. (“Starlight”) is proud to announce its participation in this year’s Spring H.O.P.E (Housing Owners and People Everywhere) Food Drive, an initiative organized through the Federation of Rental-housing Providers of Ontario (FRPO).
The Spring H.O.P.E Food Drive was created in 2002 with a goal to put nutritious food on the table of those in need. They have since organized a door-to-door campaign which gives both residents and landlords an opportunity to actively make a difference. It was our privilege, through FRPO, to register all of our buildings in Ontario to participate. Weeks before the drive, posters and bins, encouraging participation in the food drive, were placed in each building and the site staff informed residents of the importance of donating non-perishable items. On April 23, 2013, local food banks picked up all donations from our residential buildings.
