Toronto – March 1, 2017 – Starlight Investments (“Starlight”) is pleased to announce its sponsorship of the Ronald McDonald House Charities’ (RMHC) “Home for Dinner”. A team of 15 Starlight employees participated in cooking and hosting dinner for 130+ family members staying at the Toronto location of Ronald McDonald House. The Starlight team had the privilege sitting and getting to know the guests of the House and listening to their unique stories.
RMHC Toronto provides a “home away from home” for families of seriously ill children undergoing treatment. RMHC Toronto encompasses a House for 81 families in downtown Toronto and seven Family Rooms in hospitals across the Greater Toronto Area and in Sudbury. RMHC Toronto is an independent charity, governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, and operated by staff and volunteers. The first and largest House in Canada, the Toronto House is part of a network of more than 360 RMHC Houses worldwide. The Home for Dinner program provides families with nutritious meals and alleviates the burden of worrying about preparing dinner.
