Toronto – May 24, 2019 – On May 22, 2019 the Building Owners and Management Association (“BOMA”) hosted the BOMA Toronto Earth Awards at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto, Ontario. The Earth Awards recognize and promote environmental stewardship in the building industry. Using the BOMA BEST program, Starlight Investments (“Starlight”) was recognized for its efforts and awarded a recognition certificate. The BOMA BEST program not only assists members in achieving award and certifications, but also provides a blueprint for making properties more environmentally responsive and energy efficient while reducing operating costs.
In addition to its recognition certificate, Starlight was the proud recipient of an Earth Award for its building located at 15 Maple Avenue in Barrie, Ontario. The Earth Award is presented to the highest scoring BOMA BEST certification in the Multi-Unit Residential Building category. As a winner, Starlight has been invited to enter into the BOMA Canada National Awards.
