AGI Coordinator, Residential Operations


Overview

The AGI Coordinator, Residential Operations will be responsible for reviewing and auditing all information related to potential Above Guideline Increase (AGI) filings. Other responsibilities include communication of various standardized procedures to the Property Management Companies and auditing their adherence to the procedures (including legislated requirements).

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assist in gathering information for filing Above Guideline Increase (AGI), scopes, Purchase Orders (PO), invoices, proof of payment, etc.
  • Ensure all eligible capital expenditures and back-up documentation is gathered and provided to third-party legal teams
  • Gather and present all relevant documentation for any potential AGI filings that month to internal team in a timely fashion
  • Communicate with third-party legal team regarding AGI filings, upcoming hearings, etc.
  • Communicate with Property Management Companies (PMC) regarding filings, N1’s, notices of hearing, and other regulatory procedures 
  • Conduct audits on all implemented AGI’s, as well as monthly N1’s to ensure accuracy 
  • Issue tenant letters as they relate to rent receipts or past collections 
  • Field tenant calls and emails and resolve and redirect issues in a timely fashion while continuing to maintain positive relations with tenants 
  • Maintain AGI worksheet and AGI filing schedules and update on a weekly basis
  • Work with the Development and Asset Management teams to coordinate tenant meetings 
  • Complete building audits across the Canadian Multi-Family portfolio in order to ensure compliance with RentSafeTO and other internal standards, as well as complete reports detailing findings and any areas of deficiencies 
  • Assist in updating ancillary spreadsheet and contract drive
  • Other administrative tasks and duties as required by the Residential Administration Department and management
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma 
  • Knowledge of RTA (Residential Tenancy Act) and LTB (Landlord Tenant Board)
  • 3+ years’ experience in a related field
  • Working knowledge of Yardi 
  • Excellent time-management, prioritizing, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail 
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interpersonal skills, work well with others
