Application Support Specialist, Information Technology


Reporting to Application Support Manager, the Application Support Specialist will be responsible for providing support for various applications build in-house or off the shelf.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support cloud-based web applications
  • Support in-house designed and off the shelf applications
  • Create/Maintain user access
  • Test new application modules
  • Train end users and develop easy to understand training guides
  • Troubleshoot technical and data entry problems
  • Create and Maintain solution documents 
  • Create custom SQL reports, correspondence, and reporting packages as needed for Operations, accounting, property management and asset management groups
  • Automate monthly reporting 
  • Work with other 3rd party software and service providers to create automated data import/exports
  • QA testing for newly developed applications
  • Post secondary education focused on Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent training and experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience with providing application support
  • Knowledge of SQL Server database and queries
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to plan, prioritize, coordinate, and monitor a significant number of projects simultaneously
  • Sets high standards for work quality, is self-directed, and committed to continuous improvement.
  • Works effectively in a team environment and able to modify personal style to work effectively
